More on our app...

As you know, we've been quietly building an iOS app the past few months. Apple makes it so easy to create a flawless, bug-free app. The purpose of our app is to give suppliers a quick and easy media outlet for their materials. Photos & specs are uploaded from the device and instantly available to you, the user! So we got our beta version yesterday and it's working wonderfully. We haven't put any cosmetic thought or effort in it yet. The functionality of the application that we are currently testing will drive much of the 'look' and 'feel' of the app but here we go...

The user logs in and their entire inventory is on their dashboard. From this dashboard, items can be added, deleted or edited. Adding an item looks something like this:

The user enters the plant name keyword, or the plant's display name, enters the height, spread, caliper using the text boxes or the slider bars, enters the item's form and selects its size. This is the same screen used to edit existing items.

From the images tab, you can snap a new photo or add an existing photo from your device. You can add as many as you like. Once you're done you just hit save and it pops up on the site!

Updating your inventory has never been so simple! Why take one photo for one customer when you can take one photo for thousands of customers?
